Total War Battles: KINGDOM App Reviews

I waited a few weeks before writing an honest review. When you first start this game, it seems to good to be true, gives you any options you want from a game like this. But the more you play, the harder the game becomes. At first you notice it from the amount of resources you can harvest, then it gets to the battles. You can hardly ever upgrade your troops without spending real money to buy gold, and if you want the "higher tier" troops such as "knights, crossbow men, knights calvary" ect. Guess what? Pay up! (Just wait till raiders start attacking that you cant get rid of.) The same exact thing goes for upgrading your buildings, to collect the recources to upgrade one castle it takes usually half a week,(without battles because you wont be able to win the easiest ones anymore) Youll soon realize that you wont be able to accomplish the "missions" to use valor to expand land, because its once again rigged to be so hard you cant accomplish it without paying. Overall, I had high hopes for this game, after playing it for a few weeks, I can honestly say I wont play until the rigged system is nerfed. Its one thing playing and paying to upgrade units, its another when "easy" battles include 2-3 star raiders that your 1 star troops wont ever be able to beat.

I cant seem to play the game! EVERYTIME I load up the game and press play, it says "Your device does not meet the performance for this game" Im using a iPad 2 the white one

Its one of the most complete strategy game for phones. Start playing it a few days ago and now i just cant stop. The only thing is your land gets very fast flooded and its very hard to take out the water.

Ok so I just want to start off and say Ive only been playing this game since about a week. At first I wasnt totally sure if Id like it because of a few issues I ran into that some of the other comments on here mentioned. No build up of recourses in buildings/mines and having to pay to get/unlock better military units. It wasnt until middle of the first week I realized that there was nothing wrong with is game at all. Just got expectations of what this game is suppose to be. While most items/military units seem to only be obtainable through purchasing with real currency you can actually craft the same items from materials you collect at later levels in the game. Like most mobile games the ability to purchase higher items with real money are there for those few players that do not have patience or like that type of game play. While playing the game without using real world money is slow paced its still doable and quite enjoyable. If you do pre planning (which is a must in a game like this) you shouldnt have to use any real world money at all and it still be fairly fast pace, but again thats if you get a feel for the game early on and pay attention to the choice you make. I also visited the games forum page which really helped me under stand some of the games mechanics and a lot of it makes sense the way it woks in the game. So with all that said the reason I am giving a 4 Star rating is because there is always room for improvement and nothing is perfect. If you like strategy games go ahead and try this one, why not its free after all ;) .

Ive been a long time fan of the Total War games and this is definitely one of the best ones

Very fun until you unlock all of the territories as the game kinda ends there. There is also a "campaign" that has not been implemented yet, though they have been talking about it for a year and a half or so. I would rate 5 stars if there were more end game content as now I am kinda bored with it!

This game is a hybrid of management and strategic genres. While the end goal is design your dream kingdom, but the most fun is dueling. Great game for patience people!

You want to progress, win, anything after the first few days, its going to cost you. What a shame, could be such a great game but they made resource and material so hard to get you have to buy them or stop playing

When I saw the name total war in the App Store, Ill tell you I was exited, until I saw that it was nothing like total war AT ALL, that being said, its a great game it really is, but we need a real total war game.

The game is amazing and the graphics are very good its just that the game actually takes patience and time.

Having played every total war game, I have been waiting for this. Its the closest TW has come to IPhone. While it is great, some issues. The biggest is having units wait their turn for battle. If I have twice the units I should be able to overwhelm the enemy, rather than have units stand there taking artillery fire..

I love everything about this game. From the music to the flexibility. The only thing Im having trouble with is flooding, but Ill figure it out. I always do. The game is so unique and everything Ive ever wanted. It takes 5 min and not a hour to have your troops ready to go! Doesnt take a week to upgrade something. ! Way better than clash of clans. Crafting is a bit crazy though, time should be reduced? Like 2 1/2 days just to make that sliver bracelet is nuts. The Knights, I get should be hard to craft. Thank you for such a amazing game ! PS: Make more of these, Please. Its a masterpiece unperfected. But more should be made Just make Dams last longer than 10min PSS: Make trees grow a bit more. I fell trees, then winter hit and I have almost no trees left. I have a couple but they arent spreading at all. But other are? Make it so they spread a bit more idk.

Great game at first but without paying for better troops the game becomes impossible. Id rather pay one price and play a balanced game then this in app charges

Pretty slow paced; not to the level of M2TW; but could have many more improvements... And pls dont make it into a fantasy one...

People...this game has by far the best graphics and concept of any other game like this in the App Store. People are complaining about spending money, well play the game like real life lol. Gather resources, explore the land then worry about building a lot of shxx. I havent had to spend a dime. Learn patience!! Dont be developers because your always in a rush.

The requirements to have the game says you need to have ios 8 which I have, but for some reason it just wont work

This game is one of the best on the store, it goes without saying. The battle scenes are absolutely amazingly well animated!! When I saw the video ad I didnt think that was really in the game, but then I downloaded it and it was just as good as it looked! However there are three things that could make it better. 1. You should make there be more control over you army unit movement. You should be able to move your units and attack whichever enemy unit you choose more freely. 2. I know its because of the great graphic etc, but this game takes up a lot of power and space. Maybe... Try to make it a little more efficient!

I love this game, it allows me to create my kingdom how I want it and where I want it, but there is one feature that I dont like... The floods and dam breaks and stuff, that kinda disappoints me.

Advisors should pop up more ...for example best recommended prompter recommendation and next button to shift to the next similar building
