SORRY, BUT YOUR DEVICE DOES NOT MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR THIS GAME????? Me: what the hell does that mean???

I love this game. I really do. The graphics are great, the battles are decent, and the town building is pretty fun. But.... Why so expensive? Like to get new land you have to have a ton of materials that no one wants to collect! And why do you have to pay 90 gold for a color? And why does my rank one castle only allow a certain number of buildings? I would play this game so much more even if they just change the amount of buildings a castle could hold! This game is very fun but very annoying at the same time...

So the rts games for the App Store have declined in numbers and quality. And I feel that this game was a diamond in the rough. I am a big fan of the total war games and when I saw this my heart swelled(plus the pc version of this game is

Its a pay to win type of game. The difficulty jumps drastically when you begin to upgrade troops, and the duals are terribly one sided.

The game is addicting. After playing the full PC versions of the game I didnt expect much from an iOS game. The game has proven to be addicting both in battle and moreso in the kingdom building.

But difficulty is a little challenging they shouldnt make building your kingdom so hard.... But good try tho

I am dropping my rating cause this is bull the amount of invaders u get a day is maybe one or two a day its ridiculous now and about u work on that in the nexted update! I had a bunch of invaders this week and now it ridiculous so u want more than 1 star fix it

I found this game fun because I play other total war titles.

Ive played at least a hundred different "idle games". Most of them Ive quit in less than 10 minutes. Total War: Battles completely sets the new standard over other, older games like Goodgame Empire and Clash of Clans (those are both pretty good). The Total War Franchise is known for its extremely high quality, as well as its huge, realistic, simulated battles. Its graphics are amazing (but admittedly not as good as Madfinger) Although Total War: Kingdoms falls way short over other Total War Games, its easy to forget that this game, unlike the others, is free and for mobile devices, and the battles are the 2nd most realistic and detailed in the entire App Store (the first place belongs to Great Battles: Medieval, for iPad 2 and above only). It is also fairly accurate historically. While other kingdom builders focus on one castle that players try to improve, Total War lets you not only build as many as you want, you get to shape the entire landscape itself. It is definitely NOT pay to win, and it doesnt take forever to complete all actions. The game is mostly single player, but the duels allow casual and hardcore players alike to enjoy the game. I once spent 4 hours on this game in one sitting. I dont pay, but Im glad to say that, although admittedly a pretty big disappointment to Total War Fans, it really deserves the five star rating when comparing to the App Store apps as a whole. Total War Battles is truly one of the best and most underrated games on the App Store

Reminds me of other total war games but more complex building and less complex fighting . But the fighting still complex enough and really fun graphics and animations like total war. You can zoom in and see the guy block, parry, sheild bash , counter stab and tons of other maneuvers . Pretty cool.

Game needs better development aspects. Its hard to get resources, or maybe Im bad at that. Military is good

The recent update causes the game to crash within about a minute of play time. As a result, my resources have been lost to raiding parties. Hence the low star rating

Reminds me of Age of Empires. Really good graphics unlike other games like this.

Just what I was looking for

This is an average game made worse by a combat system that I havent managed to figure out in the several months since it was released. I keep trying to come back to it in the hope that a patch will have improved it, but it still stinks after all this time. Heres how the fighting works: you pick your combat units and an optional boost, start the battle, and order your army around while theyre getting murdered by your opponent. You have several options for getting murdered, but youll have to figure out what they are because the documentation for the game is miserable. Avoid this one.

Great game loved computer games love this one cant wait for the iPad Rome total war!

This was a great game until the last update. Now there is so much lag it is virtually unplayable.
